A leisurely drive east, briefly through France then into Belgium followed by the outstandingly efficient German Autobahns which in certain sections have no speed limits. Today is a good opportunity to get to know your fellow petrol heads via the supplied Walkie Talkies. After the days driving we arrive at our first nights stop in central Munich and the excellent Grand Central 4* Hotel. In the evening you will enjoy Munich's fantastic restaurants, bars and nightlife.|
|Fri||After a good night's sleep we have a morning rendezvous at the BMW Museum and a guided tour scheduled followed by some lunch in the aptly named M1 Cafť. We then head south east and to the 'Eagles Nest', Hitler's Bavarian wartime retreat. The road is not open to the public but a regular bus service is available for the short mountain ascent. This magnificent road leads us to the summit where some truly spectacular views await us. Whilst soaking up the 360ļ panoramas we can enjoy a nice brew before heading back to the cars and then itís just an hourís drive to our nightís stay at the World Cup town of Schladming and the amazing Falkensteiner Hotel where you can take advantage of the huge swimming pool and Spa facilities.|
|Sat||Today is high on fun! And your introduction to the first of the Alps mountain passes. After an excellent breakfast we initially head south, and then loop back west to take in the best that the Austrian Alps have to offer. Introducing the Nockalm, SŲlk, Grossglockner and Gerlos passes! Our night's stay is at Innsbruck, in the heart of the Alps. Overlooked by the Tyrol Alps in the Inn Valley, it provides us easy access to the following day's passes.|
|Sun||We spend the morning travelling east where we drive the sublime Hantennjoch, Hochtannberg and Furkajoch passes. Itís then into Germany past the beautiful Rhine River but don't feel despondent, crossing into Germany does not mean the fun is over! We spend the entire afternoon heading north along the entire B500 Black Forest route, Ducatiís proving ground and a real driverís favourite Ė this route has it all! A fantastic way to end the penultimate day of the tour! Our nightís stay is at the gorgeous Spa town of Baden Baden where in the evening we recommend you explore this beautiful townís night life.|
|Mon||With the trip over itís time for the last leg of the tour. A pleasant and relaxed journey through France with a stop off at the historic deserted Reims racing circuit. This is your chance to soak up the eerie atmosphere and drive the main straight stooped in history before saying goodbye to new found friends and making the short Eurotunnel crossing before arriving home in Blighty.|
